Aaron Chon

Hi, my name is Aaron Chon and I am a 2D character animator, storyboard artist, and cartoonist, who was mentored by veteran animator Randy Haycock from Disney Animation Studios. 

I graduated from the ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, California with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Animation. I have worked on many animated projects and took many roles such as character animator, story artist, editor, and director. These experiences have helped refine my skills and techniques as an animator and story artist. 

As a high-functioning autistic artist, I bring a unique perspective, deep focus, and strong visual sensitivity. With my ability to notice subtle visual details and approach challenges creatively, I consistently deliver high-quality, intentional visual design. Autism doesn’t limit my capabilities. In many ways, it enhances them and fuels my passion for storytelling.

I am deeply drawn into the multiple different styles of animation, by making characters feel natural and alive, telling different narratives of different genres, and tackling multiple subject matters to appeal to audiences of all ages.
