Being a teen affects life
Life wouldn't be as easy as you think when you're a teenager, especially 14-year-old Jack Millionaire, an ordinary, but kind and smart teen with the most ambitious goal: complete the eighth-grade. Not only does he have to struggle during his school days, but also many different kinds of predicaments that are usually part of life, random events, etc.

The Clever 14-Year Old
Jack Millionaire introduces a multitude of fun and quirky characters that make the world feel alive, including our young hero, Jacob Yong Millionaire (aka. Jack). The whole point of Jack as a character was basically to show how the viewers can relate to him. I feel creating him as a teen would make him more believable to audiences. The struggles and weaknesses he has are some of those that young teens would face time and time again and find a way to fix or overcome it.
Jack Millionaire
Intelligent, kind-hearted, meek and curious, Jack is a 14 year-old who is determined to finish his last grade in junior high. Being an ordinary kid seems like a fine thing, but he is helpful to his friends and classmates, often called the "voice of reason". Sometimes when he's around with his friends, he is somewhat annoyed or short-tempered by their strange antics.
Tom Bunner
Street-smart, outgoing, loyal, and athletic are the definitions of Tom as Jack's best friend. Tom is one of the most popular students alongside Jack. Tom is one character that likes to be as playful, unlike his best friend. While Jack likes to play along, he sometimes gets annoyed by Tom's choices or ideas. Nevertheless, the two are still friends to the end.
Jinny Lee
A smart and studious bookworm, Jinny is the new student council president and honor student of Lidamore Junior High, and a good friend and schoolmate of Jack. She was seemed as a cold and arrogant girl who only cares about grades, but she enjoys hanging out with her friends.

Jack’s Home
The architecture for the series was to build a sense of minor realism in a cartoonish fictional world. We build houses that have a vibe inspired by the 21st century. Jack's house in particular was one of the first sets to develop as the majority of the series usually takes place where our favorite teen boy lives because he is the main character. Households include a modern computer inspired by an iMac, smart TVs, etc.
Lidamore Junior High School
Lidamore Junior High School took inspiration from a traditional brick-built school in a public city. To get a general idea of the interactions with the students and the behaviors they have within their personalities, the series took heavy inspiration from slice-of-life anime and American television sitcoms that took place in schools, and what gags or quirks kids unusually do in public for comedic effect.

When designing the city of Lidamore, we aimed to make the look of the world look like an animated reality with a straight architect style. The design style was not intended to be over exaggerated like non-parallel lines or curved buildings, it was aimed for a more perspective heavy design to capture the realistic cartoony reality that would make the audiences feel like they are in the world themselves.
